Fumi’s insanely wide 180sx

While in Japan I had the chance to link up and shoot Fumi’s incredibly cool 180SX, a work in progress that already has serious presence. He hand-crafted the ultra-wide moulded rear fenders himself, and just weeks later had the front done too (which I would’ve loved to shoot). But there’s something special about capturing a car mid-build, and documenting it while it’s still a work in progress.

Rolling through the streets of Chiba, the 180SX turns heads instantly, wide, low, and loud. It’s running an Origin Labo Aggressive aero kit that matches the massive fenders, with 18” Weds Kranze Cerberus II tucked in under the arches in absurdly low offsets.

I’ll definitely be catching up with Fumi again once the car’s finished, but for now, enjoy the progress photos.
