Random snaps – Tokyo, November 2025

I always carry my camera with me everywhere I go, not to shoot anything specific, but to capture the natural, spontaneous reactions and moments that happen while I’m in Japan.

This photo set is from my last trip in November 2025. My Fujifilm X-T5 lives next to me in the car, so I’m always ready to shoot whatever pops up.

Like driving down a back street in Saitama to save money and take local roads instead of the tolls, stopping at a set of lights and spotting an all-black truck with the side door open and Max Orido’s A90 Supra sitting inside wearing a full Advan livery. Or walking down the street and a GR Yaris rally car in Cusco colours randomly drives past. Or simply seeing my S14 Silvia strapped to the back of the 3UP truck at a parking area.

This is what makes me gravitate toward this style of photography. There’s something about raw, unscripted photos that just carry a certain authenticity.

Some of the other photos were taken at Top Secret, FEEL’S, Daikoku Parking Area, and more.
